Rainy Days

The girls spent a wonderful, rainy, Saturday playing out side in the rain yesterday.  My wonderful, sweet husband got them dressed in their boots and let them go out and splash around in the small stream that had formed in our side yard.  The girls had a blast.  Their neighbor friends joined them for some splishing and splashing.

While the girls were playing in the rain, I got a chance to start painting their wooden letters that spell their names.  It's going to take a little longer than I anticipated to finish them.

My dear friend, Billie bought these cute little crocheted hats for the girls and I snapped some cute pictures of them modelling the hats.

I loved getting to play in the rain when I was little and my kids enjoy getting to do it too! Love those little hats...Taylor and Madison had some last year and I believe I am going to have to find some new ones for this year! Your letters look good...Madison has some but Taylor still needs hers :)

What absolutely adorable pictures you got of some absolutely gorgeous girls, Cindy! I love that they got to play in the rain. What fun! And, the hats are so cute. And, those letters are great!!! Can't wait to see the girls finished rooms. I know they will look great.

Such cuties! Their names will look great in their rooms! I'm planning to do something with the boys' first letters in the playroom.
