Not Out Yet!

Well, looks like I posted a day too early. Ended up taking the girls to the dr. today and Allison has RSV. :( The good news is that Lauren is ok. But we have another week of confinement to let Allison get well. Allison is definitely keeping us on our toes with her illnesses. Lauren spoiled us by not getting sick very often. But I still thank God that we have had healthy children and I pray that He will continue to bless us with health!
Another blessing is that Mom went to the dr. today and she only has one more 6 month visit to the dr. who did her breast cancer surgery. After that she will only have to go for a check up yearly. She will be a five year survivor this August.
Brother Bill is also doing well after his elbow surgery. He goes back to the dr. tomorrow to get his stitches removed and the splint off. He will still have to wear the splint some for a couple more weeks, but at least he can take it off for periods of time.
God is good and has blessed our family!!

You must be so irked by the RSV!!! I'm so sorry she was exposed to it. That's such a bummer...I hope she's okay! You have such a good outlook on it all, though. Good for you!

I'm so sorry the girls are sick, but I am glad you know what you're dealing with...somehow I always find some comfort in knowing exactly what it is that's making them sick. And, it really is common and running wild this year. I truly hope your girls did not get exposed from us! I feel like we've been laying low forever, but some things just spread even before you realize you have it and are contagious. Anyway, I'm sorry they're sick. I hope they get better SOON! Let me know if you need anything. I'm really not far away at all. ;)

Oh Cindy, I am so sorry Allison got it. I know you have to be so mad about her being exposed (I would be). Hope your little one gets so feeling better very soon.

Yeah about your mom and brother though :) Matt's mom had her 1st mammogram since finishing radiation and it was clean. We hope it stays that way. My mom has been cancer free for 7 yrs and I am so grateful...I know you are about your mom too.
